About the Director: Ranjith K. Alphonse

Ranjith K. Alphonse is a Licensed Counsellor Psychologist, Qualified Psychometrician and certified CBT Practitioner, presently practicing at GMIS, Jakarta. He is a trainer, persuader, motivator, mentor, therapist, educator and family counsellor with 18 years of extensive experience helping people achieve a better future.

An alumnus of John Paul II Pontifical Institute for Marriage and Family Studies, Lateran University, Italy, he secured the highest distinction (Summa Cum Laude) for his licentiate studies. Born in Kanyakumari, he studied and worked in various parts of India and abroad. Presently, he works as an IB teacher, teaching Humanities and practicing counselling at GMIS, Jakarta.

Qualifications: STL in Marriage & Family Counselling (Lateran University, Italy), PG in Counselling Psychology (Calicut University, Kerala), CBT Practitioner & Qualified Psychometrician, Certified Career Guidance Counsellor, B.Ed (Kuvempu University, Karnataka), M.Sc Clinical Psychology (Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu), M.A English Literature (Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu).

Current Roles: Guidance and Counselling, School Counsellor & Mentor, CBT Practitioner, Qualified Psychometrician, Children & Youth Counselling, Marriage & Family Counsellor, Lecturer on Psychology, Career Guidance Coach.

With over 22 years of experience, Ranjith specializes in assessment and intervention strategies for children with diverse developmental and learning differences, including giftedness, ADHD, learning disabilities, executive functioning challenges, and social, emotional, and behavioral issues. He also provides invaluable support to teens, young adults, families, and couples.

As a family and marriage counsellor, he creates safe, supportive environments for communication, conflict resolution, and emotional reconnection. He collaborates closely with parents and educators to develop strategies that enhance student outcomes and family well-being.

Ranjith is also an accomplished speaker and facilitator, conducting training workshops for parents, teachers, and professionals. He blends personal insight with professional expertise to provide practical strategies that empower families, educators, and corporates.
